Call for Article and Book Review Submissions! JIDS Fall Issue 2026 (Vol 2, Issue 3)

The Journal of International DBA Studies (JIDS), the official peer-reviewed journal of the European Business Institute, Luxembourg, and Golden Gate University, San Francisco, USA is accepting scholarly article submissions.  The Journal invites doctoral students, researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit original research papers for its Fall 2026 issue – Innovation and Digital Transformation in Business, Government, and NonProfits. This issue offers the reader a multidisciplinary collection of scholarly articles exploring contemporary developments in business, government, nonprofits, human resources, finance, leadership, data science, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and Agentic AI. It seeks to highlight emerging and innovative research, practical applications, and evidence-based insights on organizational performance that would inform policy, governance, support digital transformation, and address  issues encountered by businesses, governments, nonprofits, and society in the era of intelligent technologies. Book reviews are also welcome.

Just like prior issues, JIDS is of interest to business practitioners, technology enthusiasts, government and international organization officials, experts from professional, industry and nongovernmental associations and academics in business studies.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with the following:

Word count:

  • Journal article: 6,000 to 8,000. Microsoft Word document file format. The text is double-spaced; Aptos, 12-point font, block paragraph; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. When available, the URLs to access references online are provided, including those for open access versions of the reference. Abstract: 200 words. Keywords.
  • Book reviews: 1,000 words (approximately 3–6 double-spaced pages) and include the complete bibliographic details of the book (author(s), title, publisher, year of publication, ISBN, and total number of pages) at the beginning of the manuscript
  • Book review article: 2000-3000 words

Concept note: 2000-3000 words

  • Citation: American Psychological Association (APA) citation format, 7th edition. Authors are expected to observe proper citation and acknowledge the sources of materials used in their manuscripts including those which are AI-generated or assisted.   • Copyright and Permission: The full submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration. Securing necessary permission for copyrighted materials used in the article is the responsibility of the authors. The authors give the Journal the right to publish their articles in print and online.

In addition to these requirements, book reviews should critically evaluate recently (within the last 3 years) published books within the journal issue’s areas of interest. The reviews should not only summarize the book’s content but critically evaluate the book’s objectives and arguments, assess contributions to the field highlight the book’s strengths, weaknesses and significance in a clear and scholarly manner.  Excessive quotations or chapter-by-chapter summaries are not allowed.
