The Rise of AI Agents - Spring Issue 2026 (Vol 2, Issue 1)
The Journal of International DBA Studies (JIDS), the official peer-reviewed journal of the European Business Institute, Luxembourg, and Golden Gate University, San Francisco, USA is accepting scholarly article submissions. The Journal invites doctoral students, researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit original research papers for its Spring 2026 issue – The Rise of AI Agents: Governance, Regulation, and Compliance . This issue explores researches on AI agents poised to reshape not only technology but the entire global village and industries. It is time to address issues on ethical boundaries, government compliance, responsible use of AI and AI agents, human-in-the loop, and setting parameters to autonomy given to machines. This issue brings together emerging researches, technical insights, practical-world applications that can address both theoretical and practice gaps.
Just like prior issues, JIDS is of interest to business practitioners, technology enthusiasts, government and international organization officials, experts from professional, industry and nongovernmental associations and academics in business studies.
Submission Deadline: February 16, 2026
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following:
- Word count: 6,000 to 8,000. Microsoft Word document file format. The text is double-spaced;
Aptos, 12-point font, block paragraph; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. When available, the URLs to access references online are provided, including those for open access versions of the reference. Abstract: 200 words. Keywords.
- Citation: American Psychological Association (APA) citation format, 7th edition. Authors are expected to observe proper citation and acknowledge the sources of materials used in their manuscripts including those which are AI-generated or assisted. - Copyright and Permission: The full submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration. Securing necessary permission for copyrighted materials used in the article is the responsibility of the authors. The authors give the Journal the right to publish their articles in print and online.
